never-ending story Written by tweety on 2007-01-06 22:33:11hi guys, what a wonderful world to live in with bdbangla. my constant quext is finally answered by u all,Janantik and hmbd. its an excellent revealation, now i can sleep somewhat in peace ! eversince the 2nd season of closeup1 started and i saw this little gal in audition, i m glued with it. then ,same as u all, i creid, i laughed,till it ended. i did have a fair mind,i voted others on individual rounds where salma was not in there.I wanted salma to be on Top.I did all my way out to help her achieve it.I made all my local friends involved, they came to know more n more about my country, i want to introduce my country in its other beautiful part, not the side which is people used to know with their limited iq.now salma made us more proud. god knows what all i did! my story and same for many others will remain untold n unfold, all we wanted just to see her innocent smile, good life for her.its not out of sympathy,she deserves all the best,she is the best,..but she needed support. its a miracle of God,that with all the wind blowing against her, the stronger wind blown from us bdbangla and many unlknowns not attached to bdbangla,but introduced by us in our own ways. my sincere thanx had been always there to closeup1,for its great effort to bring out these unknown/unfortunate talents to the fore. salma is a music lovers delight. its only natural to like n dislike songs of different genre. but i guess, salma will remain all-time favorite with genuine music lovers mind. now when we click on bdbangla closeup1 page, it opens with auto-music of salma, and the beautiful pix of her in various mode, i cant describe my feelings, its such a beautiful creation by bdbangla,blended with our utmost feelings! thank u bdbangla brothers,not enough words to say how much we owe to you for bringing us together to share, creating a space to breath together...a breath with FRAGRANCE!!!

I was smelling something fishy but I was quite in dark about the other Side of the story. I am very much aware of the BulBul’s support for Salma –that’s pretty much open like BDbangla–the conference to clarify the confusion was much needed in the self interest of the judges . I love Salma –her songs blend with her innocent smile with how helpless she was in the hot seat made some of us more desperate to support her. It’s time to reconcile–we can get along-there is room for every singer with their beautiful songs in the music lovers’ heart. It’s not mutually exclusive, With millions of emotions, we need happy–sad-mixed songs in thousand of forms to fill our heart –Songs which I like today may not like tomorrow-then again may come back on different occasions. Music competition is just an exposure platform for the unknown talent.You can’t compare Orange with Apple anyway-or say, Golap with Rajanigandha The closeup1 is such a wonderful way for talent search-but I have a hunch-if survive- Closeup1 will come in a totally different format – Alas that’s our story-as always! Though I do share yr feelings for closeup1 2006 and esp for Salma, Im quite skeptic about the way u see the judges' absence from the final show. In the 1st page of Prothom Alo yesterday (5/1), there was a report on a press-conference by the judges' where they made their position clear to the mass. They complained against the media partner of the program (NTV) for being too authoritative over the program. they were too dissatisfied that they even wanted to abandon the program, but refrained only considering the future prospect of the 'local talents'. Finally, they had some specific plans for some potential performers in the grand-show that NTV refused. The judges are graveled by NTV and consequently decided to walk out.
This, I think, is the real story behind. I dont think that A.I. Bulbul is, in anyway, unhappy to see Salma wins!! Or, K. Bishawjit doesnt seem to dare sacrificing his enormous popularity by outright refusal to the voters' choice.
And, zico, u r just expressing the feelings of number of non-resident Bangladeshis. I also weeped, laughed..again weeped...laughed...She simply steers our belonging, she makes me feel proud of being one of the same flock, yet missing the happiness and comfort lingering there at the heart of rural Bangladesh......

Written by janantik on 2007-01-05 05:36:27I'm getting some gossip scoops -that the judges got a slap on their faces -when their score of 40 for Salma -the lowest among the three-was answered with 17,96,938 strong solid positive support from the outside fan. So they walked out the final show- I should say run away to save their face.What a fat ego they have-no respect for the fan! Most interestingly -show went on smoothly even it seems nobody noticed their absence -at least we didn't miss them a bit. Could you guess Debashish anouncing 40 from the judge and 17+ lacs from the fan-and the camera panning and zooming on the judges face. What a lavish spectacle that would be..greatest show on earth...!!!Any feed back guys?
Closeup1 score distribution !!! Written by janantik on 2007-01-05 04:56:06Any body up their educate me in closeup1 score counting I knew the highest vote from the fan makes 50 which added to what judges give out of their 50. If that's the case- Salma got highest fan vote- which makes 50 out of 50 and the judges gave 40 out of their 50 makes the totoal 50+40=90. How come she got 86 in the final total. What I'm missing here?????-

Its true i wanted muhin/ronty to b the winner, but salma did it. so congrats. infact any of top5 cud hav done it. to me them all r gud singers. so whoever wins sudnt b a great deal, as we sud realize they all r our assets.
the point i wud like to indicate is, supporting salma does not mean muhin is crap, or supporting muhin doesnt mean salma crap. ppl hav rite to make their own choice, but we sud hav respect 4 all contestant. all of the members sud agree on this, they all r our asstes. congrats to salma once again

I think that samla performance in last round was best and nisitha was second. Muhin should last. Ok no problem, as beacuse people are the best judges. And, they took the roght decesion. Again, i want to say that politeness makes a man perfect, that was in salma. She told that may be she would not be able to go in next round, but the others told themself and others name not salma. Even I voted her when she was in different group in earlier rounds. Top 10 er every performer was equally brilliant on their own ways, to be in Top 3. Apart from singing prowess, Sabbir has got the look of a HERO. He is an WOW in a show. Badhon is a beauty with brain. Putul speaks well with an oozing personality of smartness. Kishor’s stage presence is amazing. His innocent ever-smiling confident face ridoy chhuye jaye. Palash is equally versatile and a good performer, he can give a run, and ‘one-up’ if put together with Muhin. She sang this same song again ,with a total evolution in her appearance and approach.God, she has really grown up from that baby face to a sweet 16 today, within a short span of 3 months with Closeup1. She cried a little when her name was announced as CLOSEUP1. She was calm N composed soon enough, she conducted herself in an appropriate and elegant manner when receiving awards from the big heads onstage, her short interview soon after that with ntv at studio on news ongoing, she did all like a STAR. Her parents were extremely humble and cool. Its amazing. It was nice to see Muhin’s gracious hug to Salma. We appreciate this nice gesture.
